Served as senior pharmacology lead for a venture-backed sponsor preparing a first-in-human study of a novel CNS receptor modulator. Built the dose projection model, authored the abuse-liability section of the IND, and rehearsed the agency briefing.
Abuse Liability
Worked alongside outside counsel and the sponsor's regulatory team to assemble the abuse-liability evidence package supporting a Schedule IV recommendation. Engagement included literature synthesis, expert testimony preparation, and post-decision monitoring.
Translational Platform
Independent audit of a cell-therapy sponsor's translational platform ahead of a Series B financing. Identified three biomarkers without analytical validation, reframed the dose-projection narrative, and contributed to a successful raise.
Neuropsychiatry
Senior scientific reviewer for an internal program review at a mid-cap pharmaceutical. Recommended a redesigned Phase 2 with a stratified population and a revised primary endpoint; revised program advanced.
Diligence
Independent scientific diligence on a CNS asset offered for licensing. Identified a previously undisclosed signal in preclinical neurotoxicology and quantified the regulatory consequence; transaction restructured.
Advisory
Standing scientific advisor for a disease foundation supporting an academic discovery program. Quarterly portfolio review, candidate selection support, and grant-review consultation.
